It’s time for this week’s This vs That Thursday.
Today you’ll meet Sarah, a traveling mom from A Week At The Beach.
First… tell us a bit about you:
Hi I’m Sarah! I’m a travel addict. And also a busy mom. I spend my days juggling a career, a couple of kids and a daily schedule that makes my head spin.
And, I still make time to travel. I make time for girlfriend getaways, solo journeys and fun family trips throughout the year.
My mission is to inspire busy moms everywhere to make time for travel.
What do you prefer?
Mountain vs Coast
This is the hardest question! I love living in Denver, the heart of the Rocky Mountains, with my family. We spend winter weekends skiing and the wonderful summer months camping and enjoying this beautiful part of the world. However, my goal in life is to spend as much time at the beach as possible (as you may have guessed by the name of my blog!)
For this reason I absoliutely can not select what I like more, Mountain or Coast!
Charter vs Self organized
Self-organized UNLESS I’m traveling in Africa.
Summer vs Winter
Summer, unless it’s ski season in Colorado
London vs Paris
Beach vs City
Hostel vs Hotel
Explore on your own vs Guided tour
On my own, UNLESS I’m in Africa
Beach vs Pool
Asia vs Europe
Taxi vs Public transport
Backpack vs Suitcase
Depends on the destination, but I do love the freedom and lightness of a backpack!
Planning vs Spontaneity
Australia vs USA
RV vs Tent
Cruise vs Road trip
Snorkeling vs Scuba
And at last, what is your favorite (travel) quote?
“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime.”
―Mark Twain, Mark Twain: The Innocents Abroad/Roughing It
